I've concluded that Saliba has no logical reason to sign a new contract with Arsenal.

Yes, my point is that he pretty much not losing anything by waiting another year, unless he will have some realistic release clause agreed in the contract.

What objective reasons (benefiting his professional career) do you see for him to sign now?

Saliba knows Arsenal will win and he wants to be part of that

He would want to leave but that will be around 27 years

The only reason he does not sign the deal is if we start wobbling like last season

Also with his defence partner signing up he will so same

Lastly I heard he has already signed though I'm not sure if that's true

How would he know that Arsenal will win though? We haven't won any major trophy under Arteta and Saliba wasn't even a part of a single FA cup campaign.

At the current state of affairs, Real Madrid, Bayern or PSG is a much safer bet to win.

And I think all your arguments for Saliba stand if he waits for another year. Arsenal will still offer him a new contract and he will still have many potential suitors.
