Agree with you on the emotional torture that we are being put through. After yesterday, I fear we will bottle it if we have to defend 1 goal lead against a bunch of cheer leaders on the last day. I really really hope that city drop points and we are already champions before the ball is kicked in anger on the last day.
And arteta’s demeanour screams that of a fan like us, just going through roller coaster. He will improve big time if we get over the line this season!
Much agreement about Odegaard and Madueke. It is clear that Odegaard can produce magic unlike few players we have as long as he plays with intent. Is he being held back or is it his nature to avoid risk? I lean towards being held back but that’s the true question we need the answer to.
The frantic consultation (after Ben White's injury) with Heinze etc al was as if MA8 was looking for a wider solution to something that didn't exist. It should have been a straight swap but instead it seemed like the manager found a reason to apologise for omitting Martin Z.
In that moment, he destroyed the patterns of play Arsenal had been building through Rice and MLS, who I really enjoy watching in midfield. Suddenly West Ham were getting more ball as we adapted to the changes and the home crowd sensed an opportunity - they'd been given a lifeline.
Myles can turn on a sixpence, can break tight marking, has a quick turn of pace and when he sees a picture he delivers the pass immediately. He occupies opposition midfielders attention which creates space for others. He has attitude too, which I like. One for the future, I hope!
Here's to the next game and 3 more points to a desperately deserved first title for 22 years. Come. On. You. Reds!

Maduke is just awful. Nothing more to say.
Enjoy your Holiday!
Great write-up yet again!
