Gyokeres has-been very poor and it's not news but he needs help from mates and if he shows frustration for them to know,I'm with him as long as it works for Arsenal

If they like they can go and confront behind I really don't care

Interestingly Saka who has been uncharacteristically selfish this season for whatever reason has a lower output himself

Maybe he can do better by looking for the striker in order for the club to finally cross the line

I totally agree that Saka has been uncharacteristically selfish this season and I'd even gone into a bit more depth after Villa: https://www.theredcannon.com/i/183163142/the-great-resurrection

He should do better by finding not only striker but the rest of the partners in the box.

My point is that Gyokeres with his current output won't win this confrontation.

Confrontation???

The guy just want to score,I really wish he's a confrontational type so he will ditch it out to Sàka and Ode

The guy is struggling in a new league and and new team howbeit maybe levels higher than what he has ever played before

It's the duty of team mates to help out but maybe everyone are fighting to be stars

They should all wait till we can lay hands on the trophies

Saka is fighting to be a star in my opinion. It decreases his output. And I agree with you that it is really premature.

You're getting my drift now, Sàka is a very humble player and was doing perfectly fine until this season

The day he grab the ball for penalty was when I started paying attention to him

He's trying to tell everyone and most especially Gyokeres I'm the king here

Is that even necessary???

An unsurprisingly his output has drop because he's now doing is not natural to him

Play your usual game and the G/A will come but instead of passing he balloon it over the bar when before this season he rarely will do that

Sàka needs to relax,he's our 🌟 man undisputable for that matter

My theory is that around October when we got a decent lead over everyone Saka felt the smell of a trophy and started to think about personal recognition. And started to think about his goals specifically.

And as soon as he started doing that, output dropped and now he hurts both himself and a team.

Totally agree with you that his usual game would see him a top contributor in our team.

Odegaard is a different case I think. He is focused on keeping the ball and pass to Gyokerrs increases chance of losing it. So he passes mostly to Saka or sideways.

Ust's avatar

Yes at least we can agree on this one,Odegaard might be doing it so we don't lose possession

He's the captain and the leader

Ust's avatar

Yes you bought a striker and he's struggling to do what he was brought in for and he's showing his frustration finally after been ignored by team mates before and you think he's showing attitude???

theredcannon's avatar

He's showing frustration with teammates, right? So he is showing attitude?

You just think his frustration is justified. I'd say it was, if he could convert more chances. But in his current form, all the recent goals were tap-ins or penalties.

Gyokeres needs to check his attitude

Right!??

I don't think he shown himself as the reliable chance finisher or that he can threaten in the box further.

And if he continues a confrontation with Saka, I would bet on him being the one left out and not Saka. Don't you agree?
